Things to do with your kids this Christmas

Doing activities together with kids not only improves your bond but also polishes their creative skills. So, without further ado, here's a list of activities to do with your kids this festive season:

1. Make the Christmas Tree your focal point

If your tree is the shining star, then why not also make it your room’s focal point? Ask your little one to line gifts around the base of the tree and keep the wrap treatment monochromatic, minimal, and consistent.

2. Holiday Treats

Your little one is the most excited about Christmas and all the time counting how many days are left and it’s all in the festive display. While he loves the chocolate filled calendars, this stackable idea is so much more surprising. Gather and fill a bunch of containers (jars, soup cans, boxes) with holiday treats. Top them off with colorful tissue paper and level from 1–25 with number stickers.

3. Light it up!

Children love lights, and love to put things in bright and brilliant light to create the right amount of excitement. Then start with a wire wreath frame and weave through strands of over-sized bulbs for a cool holiday vibe.

4. Dinner party

A simple dinner party can easily turn into an elegant dining experience with the help of your little one. Ask him to decorate the dinner table with the right touches like metallic placemats, silver embellished napkin rings and a few ornaments scattered around the table. This will be one of the best ways to bond with your kid.

5. Decorate the Christmas tree together

Ask your child to add the lights and Santa to the tree. Put the cotton under the tree with his help and just notice how engrossed he can be through this activity. You both will enjoy a lot this process of decorating the tree.

6. Secret Santa

Play a Secret Santa game with him, including all his friends and family members in the game, and all they have to do is to pick up a gift with the name written on them and have to guess who has sent it. This will make your child’s day as kids love gifts and games and this will be an ideal combination.

Through all these activities you can really spend some quality time with your little one on this very wonderful day!
