At this stage, your child is very possessive about her things. Empathy is still rarely understood and you may find her not taking turns and engaging in cooperative play.
Respect your child’s possessive attitude. Accept it while also finding ways to ease her into sharing process. For instance, when you know about a play date, plan in advance. Ask her which toys she does not want to share with her friend and which she is ready to. Keep the former toys away.
Practice sharing at home. For instance, give her a plate of cookies and ask her to give one cookie to every family member. Praise her as she does it.
If her friend holds her toy, tell her she is just playing with it and will give back. She is not taking it home. Meanwhile, if she throws a tantrum, try to divert her attention. You can also tell your friend to get some of her daughter’s toys so that both can play with each other’s toys. If both want the same toy, set a timer. Both will take turns and play with the toy for two minutes each.
Read books to her that talk about sharing, taking turns and engaging in cooperative play.
Being a parent is both a joyous and transformative experience. In addition to prioritising your child's physical well-being, it's equally important to focus on securing their financial future. A term insurance plan can provide financial protection and ensure that your loved ones are secure in case of an unforeseen event.
Your child’s education and lifestyle can be secured with options like a 1 crore term life insurance. Easy selection of the most suitable plan for your family's needs is made possible by tools like a term insurance calculator India.
If you are considering purchasing, exploring multiple life insurance plans from different insurers is critical to finding the right plan and coverage that meets your long-term goals. Remember, by fostering trust at home and planning wisely, you create a stable and secure environment for your child to flourish.
