Give your Little One Short and Simple Tasks

Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

At this stage your child’s ability to walk by himself, improved language skills, his urge to try new words to say everyday makes him ready to learn and perform some simple tasks everyday. The most important thing is spending time with your child and interacting with him as this will lead to his development skills.

Between one and two years, your child is likely to do things on his own; you should try to support your child with simple crisp activities which he can perform. Praise him for his daily activity, teach your child what is right and how to correct it in your child’s point of view, gradually explain and connect those activities as his development activity. Try to merge yourself in your child’s environment. At this age sand and water play are the best activities for learning skills. Try to play with your child as his opponent and encourage your child for solo play. Respond to your child when he conveys to you something which he experienced while doing his tasks. Keep it short and simple and never pressurize him to complete any particular task if he's too tired or restless.
