Protecting Your Kid's Clothes While They Eat

Dirty clothes each and every time after meals is a mess to deal with. Most of the children at this age do that, and your baby is no different. Now, your child is slowly gearing up to eat by himself. Surely, not the whole meal, but in bits and pieces. And understandably, after every bite, the hands get a good rubbing on the dress he is wearing. Isn’t that cute? Surely so, but not for the parent who needs to clean the mess after.

Well, the best way to address this is to make your child a cloth that is meant for only eating purposes. Yes, keep some extra pair of clothes aside that you make your child wear only when he is eating, and allow him to do whatever he wants to. It is always better if the dress is slightly oversized. Also, use a bib in case you are expecting something too messy. You can also make your child sit in a designated place so that the food is not littered all around the house by him. Your child needs to learn to eat. And in the process, he will be messy in many ways. Have patience and make sure that you have a solution to it so that after the meal session is over, you and your child are both at peace.
