Take Proper Precautions Regarding Storage and Disposal of Medicines

Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

At this stage of your child, your child is quite tender and prone to health hzards. You need to be very careful while keeping any medicines for your child, especially when they want to play with small bottles, for example: don't keep any drops bottle in their toy box; they will be more interested to pick those bottles because it’s new stuff for them.

Make sure you keep medicines out of your child reach. Always check the expiry dates and buy the medicines. Dispose the meds which was already expired, don’t keep stacking it. Teach your child that medicine should always be given by an adult. It's important for kids to know that they should not take medicine on their own. You and caregivers can help make sure your child is taking it correctly. Never leave your child alone after giving drops or meds until you keep all the medicines in place, which doesn't reach to your child. Try to communicate with your child just to make them understand medicine box is not a toy to play with.
