Things Never to Forget When Potty Training Your Kid

Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

Potty training is best done around the age of two. Potty training will be easier if your child has learnt to pull down or pull up his pants. Make the time he sits on the potty interesting. Let him play with a toy or listen to some music. If your child does not sit on the potty, do not force him as he might devlop fear and express an aversion to it. Just let the matter drop and try again a week later.

Even when your child is responding well to potty training, there may be occasional accidents. Do not become angry or punish him. Clean up and encourage him to use the potty the next time. Even after your child has learnt to be dry throughout the day, he may wet his diaper at night. Continue using diapers at night. Most children will grow out of this by the time they are 5 years old.
