After consulting the doctor, you can take vitamin B6 supplement, which reduces nausea too. If the above does not help the nausea and vomiting episodes, consult your doctor immediately as it can affect your weight and lead to dehydration.

Another discomfort is heartburn, a burning feeling in the chest, which can be eased by avoiding spicy and fried foods and late-night meals. You can also reduce the discomfort by keeping your head in a little elevated position while sleeping.

Mood swings can be experienced during this time and there are many coping mechanisms you can try out. Regular low impact exercises like walking, getting plenty of sleep, taking a nap, going out for a movie with spouse/friend, doing yoga will help you cope better with mood swings.

Frequent urination is an early pregnancy sign. This can be very frustrating, but not to be worried about. One of the ways to deal with frequent urination is to reduce caffeine intake. Avoid drinking lot of water before bedtime. While urinating, lean forward which will empty the bladder completely and you can avoid few trips to the washroom.

Though the early pregnancy symptoms can be frustrating but considering them as part of pregnancy and accepting them along with the above tips will enable you to sail through the early pregnancy phase. The good news is that most of these symptoms will be under control by end of first trimester.
