Aloo Chaat

Prepare this quick and easy Aloo Chaat made with boiled potatoes mingled in chaat masala, green chilies, and lemon juice to treat your palate. This is rich in vitamin B6, fibre, antioxidants and many other essential minerals.

    Ingredients to make Aloo Chaat:

    500 gms par-boiled and peeled potatoes, chopped ginger, green chilli chopped, 1 tsp roasted cumin powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, ½ tsp red chili powder, coriander leaves, 1 tsp lemon juice, handful of pomegranate seeds, sev for garnishing, oil for frying, salt as needed.

    Steps to make Aloo Chaat:

    1. Dice the par-boiled potatoes into cubes. Heat oil in a skillet and shallow fry them.

    2. Take the fried potatoes in a bowl, add all the spices mentioned above and salt.

    3. Toss the potatoes. Add lemon juice, pomegranate seeds. Toss them again.

    4. Garnish potatoes with sev and coriander leaves.

    Serve this chatpati Aloo Chaat.
