Anjeer Delight

An easy to make delight, this sumptous sweet dish is full of fibre and calcium. You can prepare it in advance and refrigerate it. Your kiddo would love it.

    Ingredients to make Anjeer Delight:

    4-5 anjeer, 1.5 cup milk, 1/4 cup chopped china grass (agar agar), 1 tsp cardamom powder, 2-3 saffron strands, 1 tbsp sugar, water as needed.

    Steps to make Anjeer Delight:

    1. Soak the anjeer in water for about an hour.

    2. Blend the anjeer along with water in mixer to a smooth puree.

    3. Combine 3/4 cup water and china grass in a deep pan; stir and cook it on low till the china grass melts.

    4. Add the milk, anjeer puree, sugar, cardamom powder and cook it low flame for 4-5 minutes while stirring in between.

    5. Dissolve the saffron strands in a spoon full of water and add it in pan. Mix well

    6. Turn off the flame and keep aside to let it cool.

    Serve warm or refrigerate for an hour before serving. Garnish with saffron strands.
