    Ingredients to make Apple Malai:

    5 apples peel and scoop out central portion from the apples, 2 cups Milk, 6 tbsp. sugar, ½ tsp. ilaichi powder, 6-7 kaju, 10 kishmish

    Steps to make Apple Malai:

    1. Boil milk and keep stirring until the milk thickens to half the quantity. Add the 2 tbsp. sugar, ilaichi powder and whisk well and remove from heat.

    2. Heat ½ cup water in a saucepan and add apples and sugar mix well, cover, and cook until the apples become soft.

    3. Fill the cavity of each apple with chopped kaju and kishmish.

    4. Put apples individually one each in a small bowl and top the apples with thickened milk.

    Chill it and treat your child to savour.
