Apple Ragi Halwa is an easy and healthy dessert that you can make anytime for your baby and family. It can be given to your baby after you have introduced apple and ragi to her separately. This will definitely be a super tasty food for your baby. Ragi is a wonder grain, it has many benefits: It's mainly rich in calcium, iron, and vitamin B1 to B3. The nutrients in these millets are easily absorbable and it also keeps the bones strong.

    Ingredients to make Apple Ragi Halwa:

    2 apples, 1 cup ragi, 2 tablespoons jaggery, 1 tablespoon ghee, 1 cup milk

    Steps to make Apple Ragi Halwa:

    1. Deseed the apple and grind in blender. If you are preparing for small baby, boil apple and make puree. For toddlers, grind coarse so that they are chunky.

    2. Add ragi flour to a pan and whisk with one cup of water. Make sure there are no lumps.

    3. Heat for 5 minutes. Keep stirring or else it will stick to side of pan.

    4. You can see that the mixture is shiny by now. At this point add the apple puree.

    5. Add in the jaggery now. If apple is sweet, reduce quantity of jaggery. Mix very well.

    Apple Ragi Halwa is ready. Serve this delicacy warm.
