Arsa is a sweet dish that is prepared in Uttarakhand during the wedding occasion and is sent to the groom’s place with other delicacies. It is sweet and delicious in taste and is made from rice flour.

2 cups rice flour, 150 gm butter or ghee, 100 gm raisins, 1½ cup sugar, 1 cup water
1. Take water in a pan and heat it up and add sugar to warm water.
2. Take it off from the gas and allow this mixture to cool down.
3. Now take rice flour in a bowl and gently pour sugar solution to this to form a soft dough.
4. Once the dough is formed, heat some ghee in a pan on moderate flame.
5. Roll out poori out of the dough and fry them in the oil.
6. Take out the poori when it turns brown in color.
Serve it hot or store it in a glass jar to eat as a snack with tea.
