Avocado Paratha Recipe is a quick to make flat bread, that makes a wholesome and delicious breakfast. Your little one will enjoy this power & protein packed paratha with a gorgeous green colour. It's not only trendy to start avocado as a first food, however, it is extremely healthy. Avocados are high in potassium, fiber, vitamin E, iron and healthy monounsaturated fats, which are good for hearts of all ages.

1 avocado, big [pulp comes to around ½ cup], 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 tsp lemon juice, ½ teaspoon cumin powder, ¼ tsp red chili powder, ¼ teaspoon carom seeds, salt to taste, oil to cook the parathas, water Steps to make Avocado Paratha:
1. Peel the avocado and take out the pulp. Mash the pulp.
2. Add cumin powder, salt, red chilli powder, ajwain, lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves to the avocado pulp. Mix till thoroughly combined).
3. In another bowl measure 1 cup of whole wheat flour. Add the mashed avocado mixture to the flour and mix it well.
4. Knead to a smooth dough, adding little water if required.
5. Drizzle some oil on top to coat the dough ball. Cover and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
6. Heat up a tawa/skillet on medium heat and in the meanwhile makes equal size balls from the dough.
7. Roll the paratha thin using a rolling pin and place it on the heated tawa and let it cook.
8. Once you see little bubbles, flip the paratha and drizzle some oil on top.
9. Flip again and drizzle oil on the other side as well. Flip again and press with a spatula for few seconds.
Your delicious and soft prantha is ready. Serve hot with curd, pickle or some chutney.
