Surprise with this all time favourite of majority: Badam Pista Katli. An easy to prepare dish, this traditional mithai is loaded with the goodness of milk, almonds and pistachios.

    Ingredients to make Badam Pista Katli:

    ½ cup blanched and peeled almonds, 1/4 cup pistachios, 1 cup milkmaid, sugar if required, 1 tsp cardamom powder, ghee for greasing

    Steps to make Badaam Pista Katli:

    1. Make a fine paste of almonds and pista and keep it aside.

    2. Place milkmaid, almond and pista paste in a wok and mix well. Turn on the heat and cook. Keep stirring on low flame till it becoes thick.

    3. Taste and add sugar if required. Cook till sugar dissolves.

    4. Grease the tray with ghee. Turn out the mixture on to greased tray. Flatten it with spatula.

    5. Let it cool down completely. Cut the katli in desired shape and size.

    Yummy Badam Pista Katli is all ready to serve. It is the best for winters!
