This is a very healthy recipe which can be prepared under quick steps. Bajra Khichdi is very nutritious as Bajra (black millet) is rich in protein. You need to soak the bajra for at least 8 hours before cooking.

Ingredients to make Bajra Khichdi:
Bajra, yellow moong daal, salt, cumin seeds, hing and turmeric powder
Steps to make Bajra Khichdi:
1. The first step is to combine salt, moong daal and bajra along with 2 cups of water. Keep this content in a pressure cooker and wait for 4 whistles.
2. The next step is to heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds.
3. Wait for the cumin seeds to crackle and then add hing and turmeric powder.
4. The final step is to add the cooked bajra-moong daal mixture. Add salt and then mix the whole content.
Cook it for another 3 minutes. Serve the recipe hot.
