    Ingredients to make Bajra Payasam:

    ½ cup bajra, ½ cup moong dal, 4 cups water, 2 tbsp ghee, ½ cup jaggery, ½ cup coconut milk

    Steps to make Bajra Payasam:

    1. In a heavy bottom kadai, dry roast the bajra over simmer.

    2. Cool the roasted bajra and keep it aside.

    3. Make the jaggery syrup with water and jaggery and keep it aside.

    4. Roast the moong dal and keep it with the roasted bajra.

    5. To make the payasam, heat the coconut milk and bring to boil.

    6. Then add the coarsely roasted moong dal and bajra with the payasam. Mix well and cook for 15 minutes.

    Yummy Bajra Payasam is ready to be served.
