Give this delicious and simple version of vegetarian French toast a try and serve the best Besan Bread Toast to your child, loaded with protein. When he chews the whole thing together, he will get a pleasant mix of flavours and textures that is really awesome.

    Ingredients to make Besan Bread Toast:

    2 bread slices, ½ cup besan, 1 tsp carom seeds, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp red chilli powder, a pinch of hing, 1 tsp crushed ginger, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, coriander leaves, water, ghee, salt as needed

    Steps to make Besan Bread Toast:

    1. Take besan in a deep bowl; add onion, tomato, green chilli, red chilli, coriander leaves, carom seeds, hing, crushed ginger, turmeric, salt and mix well.

    2. Add enough water to make a thick batter.

    3. Cut the bread slices diagonally.

    4. Heat 1 tbsp oil over non-stick tawa. Place the bread over tawa. Spread batter over bread slice.

    5. Apply oil and flip the bread slice. Allow it to cook.

    6. You can spread batter on other side of bread too. Toast on the other side as well.

    Serve the Besan Bread Toast right away with green chutney.
