Your child will just adore Bhapa Doi – a Bengali sweet dish that tastes yummy. This dish is not only healthy but cooling as well. Curd is rich in minerals like potassuim, phosphorous, and zinc.

1 cup hung curd (dahi), 1 cup milk, 1 cup condensed milk, ½ tsp. cardamom powder, 2 tbsp. almonds (optional) and pistachios (optional) slivers and 4-5 saffron strands (optional)
1. Mix all the ingredients well till creamy. Pour this into greased moulds. Cover the mouth with foil.
2. Steam these moulds for 20-30 minutes or till they done.
3. Insert a wet knife to check whether they are cooked.
4. Remove from heat and cool and refrigerate to set.
5. Unmould by easing the edges and serve them to your champ.
