Bisi Bele Bath is a one-pot meal wholesome and tasty dish that has all the nutrients needed for your growing child. Loaded with variety of veggies, rice and dals, this is easy and a filling lunch/dinner preparation. It is decked with essential vitamins and minerals.

¾ cup rice, ¼ cup broken wheat, ¼ cup channa dal, ¼ cup moong dal, 2 tbsp bisi bele bath masala, 1 onion, 2 carrots, 4-5 beans, 1 potato, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp ghee, salt as per taste, 4 cups water(depending on the consistency)
1. Wash and soak the rice, broken wheat, channa dal and moong dal, together for about 20 mins.
2. Finely chop the onion and dice the carrots, beans and potato.
3. In a pressure pan, add 1 tsp oil. Add the onion and saute for 2-3 mins.
4. Add the rest of the vegetables and saute for 2-3 mins.
5. Add the rice dal mixture and to the veggies.
6. Add salt and bisi bele bath masala powder. Give a good stir.
7. Add 4 cups of water and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
8. Once the steam gets cooled, add a tsp ghee to the hot and mouthwatering bisi bele bath.
Serve warm with boondi raita and papadam. Enjoy!
