Shaami Kebab or Chana Kebab is a very healthy dish loaded with the proteins of chickpeas. It’s a very healthy snack and doesn’t take much time to prepare. It is a nice yummy snack.

    Ingredients to make Chana Shaami:

    1 cup kala chana, 1 onion finely chopped, few mint leaves, few coriander leaves, few coriander leaves, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, 1 teaspoon garam masala powder, 4 tablespoons besan, salt to taste, oil

    Steps to prepare Chana Shaami:

    1. Soak Kala Chana for six hours or overnight.

    2. Next day pressure along with water for 4 to 6 whistles.

    3. Chana should be very soft.

    4. In a bowl , mash the Chana with a wooden ladle or your hand.

    5. Add all other ingredients except oil. Mix very well.

    6. Make round shape patties.

    7. Heat oil in a pan. Add the patties and fry them both sides till golden brown.

    Serve them warm with mint chutney.
