Sometimes you are in the mood to treat your kiddo to something chatpata. Try our recipe for Chatpata Sundal. It is not only yummy, but is also full of carbohydrates, protein, vitamin C, and potassium.

1 cup kala chana soaked overnight and boiled, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp urad dal, ½ tsp asafoetida, 2 tbsp grated coconut, salt to taste, 1 lemon
1. Heat oil, add the mustard seeds, urad dal and asafoetida and sauté on a medium flame till the dal turns light brown in colour.
2. Add the kala chana, coconut, and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for another 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously.
3. Remove from heat, add the lemon juice and mix well. Serve hot.
