Your child will love the taste of Chawal ki Roti and may become one of his favourites. It is composed of healthy carbs, which are much essential for your child.
Contents
1 cup chawal ka atta (rice flour), water as required, 2 tbsp. refined oil, ghee for applying on the cooked rotis, salt to taste
1. Boil 2 cups of water in saucepan, add the salt and the 1 tsp. oil to it and mix them.
2. Put the rice flour into it and mix well with a ladle and switch off the flame.
3. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 5 minutes. When the heat is tolerable knead and make soft dough.
4. Make lemon size balls and flatten a ball on the board with hands. Dust it with rice flour and roll it into thin circle using the rolling pin.
5. Ensure that the edges are rolled thin. Heat a flat pan and roast the roti over both the sides. Flip it over when the bubbles start appearing.
6. Do the same with the other side too. Remove the roti in a plate and apply ghee over it.
Serve it hot to your child with his favourite curry.
