You require a variety of healthy meals and these Cheesy Knots are not only yummy, but they are also loaded with carbohydrates and protein!

    Ingredients to make Cheesy Knots:

    1 1⁄4 cups milk, 3 1⁄2 cups flour, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp Italian seasonings, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp instant dry yeast, 2 tbsp grated cheese

    Steps to make Cheesy Knots:

    1. Mix the yeast with 2 tbsp of warm water and leave for 10 minutes in a warm place.

    2. In a large bowl, combine milk, flour, salt, cheese, Italian seasoning, oil and yeast to form a soft dough.

    3. Knead well, cover and set aside to rise in a warm place until doubled in size, for one hour.

    4. Divide dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion of the dough into a long rope shape. Gently tie each one loosely into a single knot.

    5. Place on a greased baking tray and set aside to rise for 1 hour. Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
