This is a crunchy and yummy recipe made from chicken. This is pretty simple and quick to make. Chicken has loads of protein, vitamin B6 and phosphorus, niacin.
300 gms boneless chicken, ½ cup finely chopped onion, 1 medium potato boiled and mashed, 1 tbsp. finely chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste, ¼ tsp. turmeric, 1 tbsp. soaked channa dal, 1 tsp. crushed garlic cloves, ½ tsp. green chilli paste, 1 egg, required bread crumbs, oil for frying on the tava.
1. Boil chicken until completely cooked and cool it. Mince it in a blender.
2. Add onions, mashed potato, chilli paste, turmeric, garlic, salt, channa dal, coriander leaves.
3. Mix all together and knead the mixture to dough without adding water. If the dough is not thick you can use little rice flour.
4. Beat the egg in a bowl.
5. Make the dough into patties dip them in beaten egg and then pat in bread crumbs to bind the crumbs well.
6. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
7. You can shallow fry, deep fry or pan fry according to your taste.
