This is one of the unique evening snacks that will be loved by your kiddo.Shrimp is a rich source of the carotenoid astaxanthin. It is also an excellent source of selenium and vitamin B12, protein, phosphorus, choline, copper, and iodine.

500 gram shrimps, 2 medium potato, 6 pcs garlic cloves, 1 small onion, 1 small green chili, 1 tsp turmeric powder, a pinch of black pepper, 1 inch ginger, 4 tsp corn starch, 2 tbsp bread crumbs, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, ½ cup cilantro and ½ cup fresh mint leaves
1. Peel shrimp and marinate with turmeric.
2. Deep fry the shrimps in the heated oil. Drain excess oil using paper napkin.
3. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker using enough water.
4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add chopped onion and slit green chili,ginger, garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder and chili powder. Mix it well.
5. Now add boiled mashed potato and mix it well. Add cornstarch, breadcrumbs and mix well.
6. Finally add the shrimps to the mashed potatoes with chopped coriander and mint leaves and mix it well.
7. Let the mixture cool down and then roll it into ball shape and keep aside.
8. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying and fry the balls till golden brown.
Serve hot to your kiddo.
