Chude ke Laddoo

Prepare a quick and healthy sweet snack for your child from flattened rice, jaggery, and ghee. Chude ke Laddoo is delicious to eat and provides instant iron dose to kids.

    Ingredients to make Chude ke Laddoo:

    1 cup chuda, 1/3rd cup jaggery, 2-3 tbsp ghee, 1 tbsp milk, 1 tsp cardamom powder, 2 tbsp chopped cashews, 1 tbsp raisins

    Steps to make Chude ke Laddoo:

    1. Dry roast poha in a pan. Once done, add it to a grinder.

    2. Add jaggery with poha in grinder and grind them intoa coarse mixture.

    3. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan, fry cashews in it. Drain and remove. Fry raisins till they swell up. Drain and remove.

    4. Now add dry fruits, cardamom powder, ghee in poha jaggery mixture. Mix well and let it cool.

    5. Now add remaining ghee, 1 tbsp milk and mix again. Start shaping the laddoos and store in airtight container. If required, add more ghee and milk to shape the laddoos.

    Serve with a glass of milk.
