    Ingredients to make Chum Chum:

4 cups cows milk full cream, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp maida / plain flour optional, 1½ cup sugar, 8 cups water, 2 pods cardamom, 1 tsp ghee/clarified butter, ¼ chup khoya, 2 tbsp saffron milk, 1 tbsp powdered sugar, ¼ cup coconut desiccated

    Steps to make Chum Chum:

    1. Make fresh paneer (chenna) by curdling milk i.e by adding lemon juice in the milk. Drain completely and hang for 30 minutes in a clean muslin cloth.

    2. After 30 minutes, crumble the paneer in a plate and knead it to make like dough. You can grease your hands with oil if needed. Stop kneading it when it starts to release the fat.

    3. Additionally add 1 tbsp maida and combine well.

    4. Make small oval balls out of this dough. Each oval shape should not be more than 1 inch.

    5. Take a pan and add 1½ cup sugar in 4 cups water. Boil for 15 minutes on medium flame and stir it.

    6. Drop cooked paneer balls one by one in the sugar syrup. Cover it with a lid and let it boil further for 10-12 minutes and flip the balls in between.

    7. Switch off the flame and transfer them into a bowl. Let it cool down on room temperature.

    8. Meanwhile, prepare the stuffing by adding khoya, powdered sugar, 1/8 tsp cardamom powder, and saffron milk in a bowl. Mix it well.

    9. Slit each ball in between by draining the excess syrup and stuff the mixture.

    10. Then roll them in desiccated coconut and garnish with tutti frutti or dry fruits of your choice.

Serve chilled it to your kiddo and let him relish it.
