Churmundo

Churmundo is a simple and flavorful snack with the goodness and taste of roasted besan, rava, and wheat flour. This ladoo will just melt in your mouth. It has lots of nutritional values of vitamins A, C, and B6, protein, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium.

    Ingredients to make Churmundo:

    ½ cup ghee, ¼ cup chickpea flour / besan, ¼ cup semolina / rava, 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tsp.raisins optional, 2 tsp. cashewnut optional, 2 powdered cardamoms.

    Steps to make Churmundo:

    1. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan and roast the cashewnuts and raisins till lightly brown, remove in a cup and keep it aside. In the same pan roast the flours in low flame stirring constantly for 15 minutes or until a good aroma is released

    2. Allow the mixture to cool, add sugar, cardamom powder, cashewnuts and raisins.

    3. Roll into equal sized balls with greased palms and store in an airtight container.

    Prepare today and entertain all with this healthy snack.
