Coconut is a complete food rich in calories, vitamins, and minerals. Coconut laddoos are rich in potassium, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium, and you would absolutely love this sweet dish!

    Ingredients to make Coconut Laddoos:

    1½ cups grated coconut, 3/4 cups of jaggery, 1 tsp of ghee, 1/4 cup of water, 10gm cashews and dates for garnish

    Steps to make Coconut Laddoos:

    1. Shred or grate the coconut using a food processor.

    2. Add jaggery and water to a pan and melt it on a low flame.

    3. Add ghee to a non-stick pan and heat it. Add the coconut and fry them evenly for two minutes.

    4. Pass the jaggery syrup through a filter to discard impurities.

    5. Cook till the moisture evaporates and you begin to see strings in the mixture. This could take upto 3 to 4 minutes after you add the jaggery syrup.

    6. Cool the mixture and add cashews and dates if you want.

    7 Grease your palms and make small balls using your palms.

    Prepare these healthy and delicious laddoos and enjoy it!
