Corn Kernel Aroma Rice

Corn is one of the most widely consumed cereals grains. Being a good source of antioxidant carotenoids, corn promotes eye health. It is also a rich source of many vitamins and minerals. Mainly composed of carbs, it is an easy to preprare dish, which takes less time to cook, and the colourful appearance makes it attractive!

    Ingredients to make Corn Kernel Aroma Rice:

    Basmati rice- 1 cup, salt -to taste, oil-1 spoon, water- as required, corn-½ cup and spring onions- few

    Steps to make Corn Kernel Aroma Rice:

    1. Wash corn kernels and rice.

    2. Finely chop the spring onions and keep aside.

    3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add chopped onions, corn kernesl and salt. Fry for 10 minutes.

    4. Add basmati rice to it and required amount of water. Mix well.

    5. Pressure cook it upto 3 whistle on medium flame.

    Serve hot with curry or dal.
