Using bread slices, sugar and milk, you can prepare tasty Crème De La Caramello. This pudding is rich in calcium and carbohydrates.

    Ingredients to make Crème De La Caramello:

    8 bread slices, 1.5 cups of milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp sugar for caramel, 10 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp corn starch, 1 tbsp water

    Steps to make Crème De La Caramello:

    1. Take the bread slices and tear them into small pieces. Add the milk and mash the slices very well.

    2. In a bowl, add water and corn starch. Stir the corn starch mixture and add it to the bread mixture. Add sugar and vanilla extract too.

    3. Give it a good mix and pour it in the vessel containing bread mixture. Keep it aside.

    4. To prepare the caramel, add 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tsp water. On a medium flame, keep stirring till the sugar starts turning golden yellow.

    5. In a pudding vessel, pour the caramel and tilt it so that it's spread evenly. Wait for 2 minutes and then pour the bread mixture on top of the caramel.

    6. Steam cook for about half an hour. Allow it to cool and keep the vessel in the refrigerator for atleast 2 hours.

    7. Invert Crème De La Caramello to a plate.

    Cut into desired shape and serve this amazing dessert with butter scotch syrup on top or vanilla ice cream.
