    Ingredients to make Crunchy Caramel:

    1 cup grated apple, 1 cup thinly sliced dried apricot, ½ cup slivered roasted almond, 2½ cups brown sugar, 1 tsp butter, ½ cup chocolate chips, ½ cup water

    Steps to make Crunchy Caramel:

    1. Grease a rimmed baking tray with butter.

    2. In a mixing bowl, toss together the apricots, almonds, apples, and the chocolate chips, put them on the baking tray and spread them evenly across the entire baking tray.

    3. Place a saucepan on the stove and stir together sugar and water in a medium heat.

    4. Keep stirring and continue cooking until the sugar syrup turns golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes.

    5. Pour the caramelized sugar over the mixture on the baking tray.

    6. Take care not to move the tray after the sugar has been poured.

    7. Let it cool for half an hour.

    8. Cut them into desired shapes.

    Treat today with Crunchy Caramel !
