Dahi Chane Ki Sabzi

Brown chick peas are rich in protein. Along with curd and dry spices, you can prepare a delicious dahi chane ki sabzi. This side dish is a great accompaniment to missi roti, phulkas, or puris.

    Ingredients to make Dahi Chane Ki Sabzi:

    2 cups boiled brown chick peas, 1.5 cups curd, 2 tbsp gram flour, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp green chili paste, 1 tsp chili powder, salt to taste, 1.5 tbsp oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 4-5 sprigs of coriander leaves

    Steps to make Dahi Chane ki Sabzi:

    1. In a mixing bowl, put curd, gram flour, turmeric powder, green chilli paste, chilli powder, salt and half cup water. Mix well using a whisk. Ensure there are no lumps in the mixture. Keep aside.

    2. In a kadai, put oil. Once the oil is warm add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.

    3. Once the seeds splutter, add the brown chick peas and gram flour-curd mixture. Stir continuously for 2 minutes on medium flame.

    4. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

    Delicious Dahi Chane ki Sabzi is ready. Serve hot with phulkas. Enjoy!
