Doodh ki Kheer is one of the favorite desserts of India. It is rich in nutrients like fiber and protein. Fibers helps in easing constipation and improves overall digestion, protein helps in building muscles.

    Ingredients to make Doodh ki Kheer:

    1/2 cup rice, 2.5 cups milk, 1/4 tsp green cardomom powder, sugar as required (it can be replaced with honey also) few saffron strands and almonds

    Steps to make Doodh ki Kheer:

    1. Heat heavy bottomed pan, add 1 tbsp ghee, cardomom powder, and rice.

    2. Saute for 1 minute, then add milk and cook till it heavily boils.

    3. Keep cooking on medium flame till you get desired consistency, stir occasionally.

    4. Lastly, add sugar and nuts cook for another 1 minute and switch off the flame.

    Serve chilled. Your full of love thick fresh creamy Indian rice pudding is ready to relish.
