These two tone cookies look beautiful and are great in taste as well. These cookies will accompany your child as snacks during the evening tea time. It is loaded with healthy carbs and fats.

Ingredients to make Double Colored Cookies:

250 gm all purpose flour, 100 gm castor sugar, 180 gm butter, 1 egg white, 20 gm cocoa powder

Steps to make Double Colored Cookies:

1. Dissolve cocoa powder in hot water and then keep aside to be cool.

2. Take butter and sugar in a bowl and beat them together to form a smooth paste. Add egg and vanilla to this mixture.

3. Beat it up well with a beater and form a light and fluffy mixture.

4. Now add flour in this batter and form a soft dough.

5. Now mix cocoa mixture to half of the dough so that it turns chocolate brown in color.

6. Roll out both the dough separately keeping inch thickness.

7. Chill them for 2 hours and then remove from the fridge.

8. Now, cut each strips from both the dough and wet the sides of the top of the stick and then form a checkerboard.

9. Now form cookies like that and wrap in a plastic wrap and keep in the fridge for 1 hour.

10. Take a baking tray and place butter paper on it. Bake the cookies at 175 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Serve fresh.
