Dry Fruit Laddoos

Dry fruits ladoo is a great source of nutrition with fun, since it is sweet to taste and children quite enjoy eating them. Since sugar is not used during preperation it does not allow a lot calories to enter the system.

    Ingredients to make Dry Fruit Laddoos:

    ½ cup - mixed nuts, 1 cup - seedless dates, 3 tbsp - dry coconut, jaggery to taste, 2-3 tbsp - ghee

    Steps to make Dry Fruit Laddoo:

    1. In a mixture jar, coarsely blend the deseeded dates and keep them aside.

    2. Coarsely chop the mixed nuts.

    3. Now take a kadhai add ghee and add mixed nuts and roast them on low flame for around 5 minutes.

    4. Slowly also add the coarsely blended dates and mix properly with the help of a spatula.

    5. Cook on medium flame for sometime till the dates start to leave oil. Then add dried coconut and mix properly.

    6. Then add jaggery as per your required sweetness, mix properly and switch off the flame.

    7. Let it cool off for few minutes and then start to make ladoos, as if it cools of completely you will be able to bind the ladoos.

    Serve these freshly made ladoos to your little muchkin and let him relish them with every bite.
