Kowai is light and nutricious veggie, it is easy to digest and full of nutrition. It works as coolant in body and antioxidant helps in maintaining body temptreture. Also called as scarlet gourd rich in nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants help in strengthening the nervous system. It can be added in porridge or served as side dish. It could be a ideal finger food in form of salad also.

    Ingredients to make Easy Kowai Stir Fry:

    2 cups diced kowai, 1 tbsp ghee, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, pinch of salt

    Steps to make Easy Kowai Stir Fry:

    1. Firstly, wash kowai thoroughly in running water.

    2. Then dice it in chunks.

    3. Now heat the pan, add ghee, and then add kowai.

    4. Stir fry it till tender for approximately 3-4 minutes.

    5. Lastly, sprinkle salt and cumin powder.

    The dish is prepared and can be served with chapati or porridge.
