Ekpanni Tambali is a simple, quick, and healthy soup for your child. It is made from coconut milk and Brahmi leaves. This is very good for your child’s brain as it often regarded as a brain booster.

    Ingredients to make Ekpanni Tambali:

    1 cup velaga (brahmi) leaves, 2 green chilies, ¾ cup fresh grated coconut, 1 tsp. cumin seeds, ½ tsp. ghee, ¼ tsp. pepper, ¼ tsp.tamarind extract and salt to taste

    Steps to make Ekpanni Tambali:

    1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the Velaga leaves till they turn yellowish.

    2. Remove from pan and fry coconut without oil for 2-3 minutes.

    3. Grind coconut, leaves and other ingredients. Add salt, mix well and serve with rice.

    Note: After grinding, it should not be heated.

    Prepare this on a rainy day and offer it hot with rice to your child.
