Fried Rice

Vegetable Fried Rice is a tasty and satiating one-dish meal, which can be made in minutes. The crunchy veggies add a splash of colours and myriad flavours to the dish. The wide assortment of veggies and beans in it ensure that your kiddo gets ample nutrients .Being a rich source ofVitamin C, French beans also helps strengthening immune system of the body. Carrots are packed full of nutrients such asVitamin A, Vitamin C and Calcium. Capsicum contains good amount of Vitamin C.

    Ingredients to make Fried Rice:

    1 cup cooked, 2 small finely chopped carrot, 2 finely chopped beans, 1 small chopped onion, 2 tbsp finely chopped spring onions, ½ tbsp finely chopped garlic 2 tbsp, finely chopped capsicum, salt to taste, 1-2 tbsp ghee or oil, 1.5 tsp black pepper powder

    Steps to make Fried Rice:

    1. Heat oil in pan andadd garlic and sauté till the raw smell goes off. Then add onion and spring onions into it.Sauté it for a minute or till it becomes soft.

    2. Add in carrots and capsicum. Sauté it. Now put the chopped beans. Fry it for 2 minutes.

    3. Put salt, pepper followed by cooked rice and mix it well.

    Serve it hot along with any curry or raita.
