    Ingredients to make Holud Mishti Pulao:

    1 cup basmati rice, 1 inch ginger grated, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 2 bay leaves, 1 inch cinnamon stick, 3 cardamom pods, 3 cloves, saffron strands-few

    For Seasoning:

    3 tbsp Ghee, 2 tbsp Cashew nuts, 2 tbsp Raisins

    Steps to make Holud Mishti Pulao

    1. Cook the rice in a pressure cooker along with 1 tbsp ghee, ginger and 2 cups of water until done.

    2. Roast the spices and nuts in ghee on medium heat until golden brown. Add saffron.

    3. Turn off the heat, stir in the steamed rice and sugar into the roasted nuts and spices and serve.
