Worried about the leftover idlis you made for breakfast? Here’s a recipe that allows you to reuse those idlis and spice them up into a tempting snack. Idli fry is a delicious snack and is full of nutrition too as it is probiotic, rich in calcium, carbohydrates, iron, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B1, Vitamin A, protein etc.

Ingredients: 4-5 idli pieces, chaat masala, salt and oil.
Steps:
1. Cut the idli pieces into shapes of your desire.
2. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the idli pieces. Keep in mind that you want the idlis to be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
3. Remove the pan and drain off the excess oil. Sprinkle chaat masala and salt and mix well so that the idlis have a good coating of the masalas.
4. Serve with sambar or coconut chutney.
You will love these fried idlis. So go ahead and get those left over idlis out of your refrigerator and prepare this yummy dish for snack time!
