Kairi ki Jaljeera

A refreshing chilled drink, Kairi ki Jaljeera is made from raw mangoes, which are a good source of vitamin A, C, and minerals like iron, calcium, and magnesium. The drink is flavoured with herbs like coriander and mint and spices like black salt and cumin.

    Ingredients to make Kairi ki Jaljeera:

    2 raw mangoes, 25- 20 sprigs of coriander leaves, 15-20 mint leaves, 2 green chiles, ½ tsp roasted cumin seeds powder, ½ tsp black salt, 1 tbsp sugar, salt to taste

    Steps to make Kairi ki Jaljeera:

    1. Peel and chop the raw mangoes.

    2. Finely chop the coriander, mint and green chiles.

    3. In a blender add all the ingredients and add 2 tbsp water.

    4. Blend till smooth.

    5. In a deep bowl, transfer the mixture. Add 3 cups of water and give a good mix.

    Keep the Kairi ki Jaljeera in the fridge for an hour. Serve chilled. Enjoy!
