This is a delicacy that is very soft to eat and it just melts in the mouth due to its amazing flavor. It can be prepared easily on any festival and keeps your festivities filled with joy.

1/3 cup powdered cashews, 1/3 cup maida, ½ cup melted ghee, ½ tsp cardamom powder, 3/4 cup sugar. 3½ cup melted ghee
1. Take cashews, flour, ghee and cardamom powder in a bowl and mix well.
2. In a pan combine sugar with 1/3 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Simmer till you get 1 string consistency.
3. Add cashews, flour mixture and mix well over a slow flame, stirring it once.
4. Pour hot ghee over the mixture slowly and keep stirring it in a clockwise direction.
5. Some of the ghee starts separating when Mysore pak expands. At this stage,sprinkle some water on the Mysore pak.
6. When the Mysore pak sizzles this means that it is ready to take out of the pan.
7. Pour the mixture into the tray and after some time cut into square shapes.
Store in an air tight container.
