Kakara is a popular sweet dish often made at home during festive season is loved by all age group people. In North India, it is known as Gulgule or Meethe Pue. The saunf adds a different flavour to Kakara and makes them easily digestible.
Contents
1 cup wheat flour, ½ cup gud, salt to taste, 2 tbsp saunf, ghee or oil for deep frying, water
1. add 1 cup of water and gud in a deep pan and cook all the gud dissolves.
2. In a big bowl, take wheat flour; add a pinch of salt and gud mixture. Whisk well to make it lump free.
3. Add saunf to the mixture and mix well
4. Heat oil in a skillet. Now with a spoon or hand drop little-little batter in hot oil.
5. Deep fry till golden brown.
Garnish with coconut shavings and serve hot.
