    Steps to make Khasta Kachori:

    1. Combine maida, baking powder, baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 cup ghee in a deep bowl, mix well and knead into a semi-soft dough using water.

    2. Cover the dough and leave it for 15-20 minutes.

    3. Grind the moong daal in a mixer to a c oarse mixture without using any water. Keep aside.

    7. Now divide the dough into small equal sized balls. Roll out each ball into thin sheet.

    8. Place one portion of moong daal filling in the centre of thin sheet. Bring together all the sides and seal it tightly.

    9. Roll the filled portion lightly into desired size.

    10. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadai and fry the kachoris on a slow flame, turning them in between till they turn golden brown in colour from all sides.

Serve with green or tamarind chutney or add the flavours of chaat to it before serving.
