500 gm kosala saga, 75 gm onion, 10 cloves garlic, 2/3 pcs green chili, 2 tsp urad dal, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 3 tbsp. refined oil
1. Clean and wash the kosala saga under running water properly. Cut it into small pieces.
2. Cut thin slices of onion and crush the garlic. Keep it aside.
3. Heat oil in a deep pan. Add crushed garlic, fry it till golden brown and then add urad dal and mustard seeds. Let it crackle and add onion slices and silted green chili. Fry till the onion gets translucent and turn into golden brown color.
4. Add the saga and salt to it. Stir well and cover it.
5. Stir it continuously until it gets cooked well and dry. Switch off the flame.
Serve it hot with rice/phulkas.
