Paniyaram is basically a very famous south Indian dish made with fermented lentil and rice batter. Due to its sour taste and the option of making it less spicy, it can allure your little one to gobble a few of them. The cute round balls make them feel something special has been cooked for them and they cherish them always. Arrange for a Paniyaram pan for yourself at prior so that you can make them just perfect for yourself and your little one. They contain healthy carbs and protein.

1.5 cup - idli batter, 1 medium size onion - finely chopped, 1 medium size carrot - grated, oil as required, 10-12 mustard seeds, grated ginger, salt as required, 8-9 curry leaves
1. Take some oil in a pan, once the oil is hot throw in some mustard seeds, and once they stop to crackle, add curry leaves, then add some ginger, add onion and saute till they are pinkish in colour and add the grated carrot and sprinkle some salt and mix properly. add this misture to the idli batter once in cools off and mix properly.
2. Now take the Paniyaram pan and put it on the flame, once its a little warm, fill the moulds 3/4th with the batter.
3. You can cover and cook for few minutes and then flip.
