Have you ever tried or seen a red looking kheer? Interesting right? This innovative and creative recipe gives a twist to traditional kheer recipe, which contains beetroot, a dark ruby red colored rooty veggie, which is a great source of fiber, vitamin k, and manganese. Vitamin C present in it boosts immunity, folate is essential for normal tissue growth. It also contains milk which contains calcium which is needed for the healthy bones.

Beetroot -100gms, sugar -50gms, milkmaid -25ml, milk -200ml, ghee, cashews, almonds, cardamom powder
1. Grate the beetroot and keep it aside.
2. In a pan, add ghee, and sauté the beetroot until soft and keep it aside.
3. To the same pan, add half part milk and boil it add milkmaid and sugar and stir well.
4. Add beetroot to the mixture and then add another half part of milk cook well until desired consistency.
Serve this red looking kheer to baby garnished with almonds and cashews.
