Makkai ki Chaat

    Ingredients to make Makkai ki Chaat:

    2 tbsp maize flour, 2 tbsp white flour, 1 tsp mix herb powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, ½ tsp carom seeds powder, salt to taste, oil for frying, 1 cup boiled sweet corns, 1 tomato chopped, 1 onion chopped, 1 small capsicum diced, 2 green chiles, 1 tsp back pepper powder, 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tbsp red chili sauce, 1 tbsp schezwan sauce

    Steps to make Makkai ki Chaat:

    1. Combine the corn, white flour, maize flour, salt, pepper, mix herb powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, carrom powder, salt and 1 tbsp of water in a deep bowl and mix well.

    2. Heat oil in a skillet; deep-fry the corn till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.

    3. Heat the oil in a pan, add the green chiles and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds. Add all sauces and spice powder.

    4. Stir in fried corns and little salt and saute on medium heat for a minute.

    5. Take out the corns in a deep bowl. Add onion, tomato, capsicum, chaat masala. Toss well. Add lemon juice if required.

    Garnish and serve.
