Mango Burfee

It is a yummy sweet dish that is made from the king of fruits, mango, and is very rich in vitamin C.

    Ingredients to make Mango Burfee:

    1 cup mango pulp, 1 cup semolina, 2 cups sugar, 2 cups milk, 2 tbsp grated coconut, 1 tbs ghee, 1/4 tsp powdered cardamoms

    Steps to make Mango Burfee:

    1. Boil milk in a deep pan and add sugar to it.

    2. Take a non-stick pan and add ghee to it. Saute the semolina till it turns light brown in color.

    3. Pour the sweetened boiled milk and add mango pulp, coconut, khoya and cardamom powder.

    4. Cook on low flame and keep stirring.

    5. Let the mixture thicken and then add it to a tray. Grease the tray before pouring in the mixture.

    6. Garnish with nuts and cut into desired shape and size.

    When it cools down, take out the burfee and serve.
